Privacy Policy — Virtual Tesla Coil

This policy explains what information the Android app Virtual Tesla Coil ("the app") handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the app only.

Summary

• The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of our own. We, Framånen, do not collect, receive or sell your personal information.
• Your settings and progress are stored only on your device.
• The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google collects some device information to show and measure those ads, as described below. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.

1. Information stored on your device

The app saves the following on your phone so it remembers you between sessions. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it:

• your settings (sound, music, vibration, camera shake, graphics quality, language);
• the coil mode, arc colour, finish and environment you chose, and the Lab Console dial positions;
• which colours, finishes and environments you have unlocked;
• which Learn chapters you have read, and how many times you have used Overdrive.

This information is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and supported by ads. It uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob), provided by Google LLC, to show interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads (for example, to unlock a colour or start Overdrive).

According to Google, the SDK automatically collects and shares the following for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

• IP address, which can be used to estimate the general location of the device;
• product interactions, such as app launches, taps and video views;
• diagnostic information, such as app launch time, hang rate and energy use;
• device and account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID.

This data is encrypted in transit (TLS). It is collected and processed by Google, not by us; Google's use of it is governed by Google's own policies:

Personalised ads. Ads may be personalised (based on your advertising ID and activity) or non-personalised, depending on your consent choice and on the law where you live.

3. Your choices and consent

• EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland: on first launch the app shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). You can accept, reject or customise. You can reopen it at any time from Settings → Privacy options in the app.
• United States: where state privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or of targeted advertising, those choices are offered through the same consent tools where applicable.
• Everyone: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
• Rewarded ads are always optional. Nothing is lost by not watching one.

4. Permissions the app uses

The app does not access your camera, microphone, photos, files, contacts or precise location.

5. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help you have it removed.

6. Sharing and sale

We do not sell, rent or share personal information. The only third party that receives data from the app is Google, through the AdMob SDK, as described in section 2.

7. Data retention and security

We hold no personal data, so we have nothing to retain. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data collected by Google is kept according to Google's retention policies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, "KVKK"), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold your personal data, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can also contact us and we will help. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. International transfers

Google may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in Google's policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
